Samuel Salmenlinna

Samuel Salmenlinna is the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and a member of the Board of Directors of Locus Portal. Until December 2000, Samuel held management positions at Stonesoft Corp in the USA. He was instrumental in building a new software product business in North America. Prior to that, he managed the development of a concept for product and service management that was the basis for the software product at Stonesoft Corporation, Helsinki (HEX: SFT1V). Prior to joining Stonesoft, Samuel worked in product development as a project manager at Tekla Corporation, Espoo (HEX: TLA1V), where he was able to turn a number of unprofitable software projects around into profitable business.

Tero Heinonen

Tero Heinonen is the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Locus Portal. Before Locus Portal, he held sales management positions at Stonesoft Corporation, Helsinki (HEX: SFT1V). He was responsible for direct sales to telecommunication operators in the EMEA area. In addition, he was a key player in building a partner network. Prior to Stonesoft, he founded DawnMatrix Inc., a company focusing on personified e-commerce products for configurable products. During 1998-1999, Tero established a new product line for Stonesoft Corporation. He was responsible for creating the business model and product concept, leading the cross-functional team, as well as managing the initial product development phase. Between 1993 and 1998 he worked for Tekla Corporation (HEX: TLA1V). During that time, he held various positions in software development, project management, and development of activities, and business management including turning an unprofitable business unit around and making it profitable.

Petri Junnilainen

Petri Junnilainen, the Director, Product Creation of Locus Portal, is a pioneer of mobile location services. He has successsfully created innovative location based services as early as in 1999, including one of the first mobile mapping applications in the world. In addition he has a long experience in Geographical Information Systems and mapping applications. Petri has sharpened his skills working with Wapit Ltd., a pioneer in the Mobile Internet at the time, in a senior management position for network positioning technologies and location based services and for Karttakeskus (later Genimap), a leading mapping company, as consultant and senior software engineer.

Ilkka Hiidenheimo, a member of the Board of Directors

Ilkka Hiidenheimo, a member of the Board of Directors of Locus Portal, is the founder of Stonesoft Corporation (HEX: SFT1V) where he served as the Chairman of the Board from 1990 to 1998. From 1989 to 1990 he worked as consultant at Oracle Finland Ltd and served as system designer and product manager at Tekla Corporation, Espoo (HEX: TLA1V) during the period, 1985 to 1990. His areas of responsibility in Stonesoft include Technology, Research and Development and Quality Control.
